Kelsey & Preston’s Lakeside Idaho Elopement
I flew into Boise, rented a car, and drove out to the edge of the Sawtooth Range where this tiny mountain town sits. Kelsey and Preston had picked spring because they wanted it to just be them, no tourists, and no chaos.
We started at the spot where Preston proposed. It was breezy and a little cold but the sky was completely clear and you could see the mountains forever.
They did their first look with the Lord of the Rings score playing and water hitting the rocks behind them. We then walked around and explored for a bit before driving to the ceremony spot.
Kelsey and Preston had picked their ceremony location out themselves and when we got there I understood why. It was all windy bluffs, the lake right there, & peaks behind everything. They said their vows with close family around them and it was just really, really good.
We sent the family ahead to set up camp and drove out to the bluffs. The wind was something else up there. Kelsey and Preston spent that time just the two of them, taking it all in and having fun together.
Camp was ready when we got back. Fire going, drinks poured, s'mores laid out. The night wrapped up surrounded by the people they love celebrating a really beautiful day.
Days like this are why I do what I do. Kelsey and Preston, thank you for letting me follow you around on your day and be part of something so genuinely yours.
Want your Idaho elopement to feel like this? I want your day to feel perfectly tailored to you. Your day is and investment I’m honored to be a part of.
